What is Disney Jollywood Nights?

Disney Jollywood Nights 2026 is a separately ticketed after-hours Christmas event held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on selected evenings during the festive season. For the first time, parties are taking place in January.

Rather than focusing on a traditional Christmas atmosphere, Jollywood Nights combines classic Hollywood glamour with Disney magic. Expect live music, sparkling decorations, exclusive stage shows, stylish lounges, festive street parties, shorter attraction queues and plenty of opportunities to meet Disney Characters dressed in their Christmas best.

Party guests can enter Hollywood Studios from 5.30pm, with the event officially running from 7.30pm until 12.30am.

Is Disney Jollywood Nights Worth It?

When Jollywood Nights first launched in 2023, guest reviews were mixed.

Fortunately, Disney has listened.

Having attended the event myself, I thought the atmosphere felt much more polished than I’d expected. Hollywood Studios looked beautiful dressed (as were some guests!) for Christmas, the entertainment was great and the Park never felt overwhelmingly busy.

Unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights has a more sophisticated feel; it is definitely more for older teens and adults than families with young children. There are still plenty of opportunities to meet Disney Characters and enjoy attractions, but the emphasis is very much on stylish entertainment, live music and festive atmosphere.

If you’re expecting another version of Mickey’s Christmas Party, you may be surprised. Jollywood Nights has its own personality, and that’s exactly why I enjoyed it. If you want to compare, read more about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party before deciding which party might suit you best.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2026 Party Dates

Disney Jollywood Nights takes place on selected evenings throughout the Christmas season. And for the first time ever, parties will take place in January!

• November 2026: 7, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28
• December 2026: 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 23
• January 2027: 3, 5

If you’re travelling during the Christmas holidays, I’d recommend booking your preferred date as soon as possible, as the most popular evenings can sell out.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2026 Ticket Prices

2026 ticket prices range from:

• Adults (10+)
• $169 to $199 per ticket, plus tax.

• Children (3-9)
• $10 less than the adult ticket price.

Prices vary depending on the date you choose, with weekends and dates closer to Christmas generally costing more.

Buying Tickets from the UK & Ireland

Unlike guests in the United States, visitors from the UK and Ireland can’t currently buy Jollywood Nights tickets through the UK or Irish version of Disney’s website or My Disney Experience app.

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel during the Party season, you can purchase tickets from 9th July by contacting your travel agent or Disney directly.

General ticket sales begin on 16th July.

The best option for UK and Irish visitors is to buy party tickets through trusted third-party sellers such as Florida Tix, AttractionTickets.com and Orlando Attractions, which often offer promotional discounts. It’s worth shopping around.

For families from Eire, Attraction Tickets in Ireland has tickets available in Euros.

If Jollywood Nights is an important part of your holiday, I’d recommend booking in advance rather than waiting until you arrive.

What Happens During Disney Jollywood Nights 2026?

One of the things I loved most about Jollywood Nights was that it genuinely felt different from any other Disney event I’d attended.

Rather than rushing from attraction to attraction, the evening encourages you to slow down, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the entertainment taking place across Hollywood Studios.

Expect sparkling decorations, stylish live music, festive cocktails, Christmas treats and plenty of Disney magic with a glamorous twist.

Entertainment Highlights at Jollywood Nights

Disney Holidays in Hollywood

Hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, this festive star-studded variety stage show combines Disney Characters, music, dancing and plenty of Christmas cheer. It’s well worth seeing!

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

One of my favourite moments of the evening.

The Chinese Theatre comes alive with projections, fireworks, lasers and festive music… and snow in a spectacular Christmas finale.

Glisten!

International champion ice skaters perform breath-taking routines on Hollywood Boulevard. The rink is set up in front of the Chinese Theatre, so it’s easy to watch.

This was one of the entertainment offerings that really makes Jollywood Nights feel different from Disney’s other Christmas events.

What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along. 

Jack Skellington takes us on an ethereal exploration of this award-winning production of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Sing along to beloved songs from the iconic film and discover peculiar magic in unexpected places. Along the way, you’ll conquer Oogie Boogie and be encouraged to follow your curiosity.

Sunset Seasons Greetings

Be sure to catch the dazzling holiday projections and lasers which light up the Hollywood Tower of Terror and Sunset Boulevard – complete with snow! WE really enjoyed this!

Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club

The courtyard outside the Hollywood Tower Hotel transforms into a glamorous Christmas lounge complete with live music, cocktails and vintage Hollywood charm. Even if you don’t stop for a drink, it’s well worth wandering through to enjoy the atmosphere.

Pixar Disco

Perfect for families.

Dance the evening away with favourite Pixar characters, including Edna Mode, Joy, Frozone and Mike Wazowski.

Echo Lake Holiday Celebration

A lively retro Christmas party featuring Disney Characters, festive music and plenty of opportunities to join in.

Character Meet and Greets

One of the highlights of Jollywood Nights is meeting Disney Characters you won’t usually find together during a normal Park day.

Disney continues to expand the character line-up each year, so I’d recommend checking the My Disney Experience app and the Jollywood Nights party guide on the evening for the latest locations and times.

Attractions Open During the Party

Many of Hollywood Studios’ headline attractions remain open throughout the evening, often with much shorter queues than during the day. We managed to ride Toy Story Mania on repeat as we competed to get better scores!

Jollywood Nights offers a fantastic range of seasonal snacks, festive cocktails and limited-time treats.

If you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby is a lovely way to escape the crowds for a while with festive drinks, light bites and live piano music. We started our evening off with this and it was a great way to get into the Jollywood vibe.

I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the event. Rather than feeling rushed, it encouraged us to slow down, enjoy the entertainment and simply soak up Christmas at Hollywood Studios.

Who Would Enjoy Jollywood Nights?

I’d particularly recommend Jollywood Nights if:

✔ You enjoy live entertainment.

✔ You love Christmas with a touch of old Hollywood glamour.

✔ You’re travelling with teenagers or adults.

✔ You’re looking for something different from Magic Kingdom.

You do have to be organised and prioritise what you want to see, as shows inevitably overlap and it isn’t possible to see everything.

My Fabulous Park Days Verdict

Before attending Disney’s Jollywood Nights, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect.

I’d read the mixed reviews from its first year and wondered whether it would live up to the hype.

Thankfully, I came away pleasantly surprised.

Disney has clearly listened to guest feedback and refined the event. The atmosphere felt festive without being hectic, Hollywood Studios looked beautiful dressed for Christmas and there was always something happening as we explored the Park.

Would I recommend it?

Yes

It’s a very different experience from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but that’s exactly what makes it special. Rather than trying to compete, it offers its own unique take on celebrating Christmas at Walt Disney World.
