What is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP)?

On select evenings starting this August, the sun sets over Cinderella Castle as Magic Kingdom transforms into the centre for all things spooky and fun.

Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event that happens each year at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This spooktacular event takes place after regular park hours and offerings include exclusive entertainment, Halloween-themed food and drinks, trick-or-treating, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise and character greetings. The party runs only on specific weekend or weekday nights, so be sure to check the dates below to plan your trip.

Ticket prices for this event are the same as in 2025, ranging from $119 to $229 per ticket plus tax, and vary by date, though there are only a few at the lower end, and they become more expensive at weekends and as Halloween approaches. Tickets for children ages 3 to 9 cost $10 less than those for adults.

N.B. Your standard Park ticket does not include entry to this event.

On Party days, things officially kick off at 7pm, but ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4.00pm and the Party ends at midnight. The park closes at 6.00pm for daytime guests without an event ticket.

Fair warning: this event is popular! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has completely sold out for the last two years and October 31st sold out in record time this year on the first day of general public sales. Though we wouldn’t expect more dates to start selling out until sometime in July.

How to book tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) from the UK and Ireland?

Pumpkin Display at Walt Disney World Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

It’s important to note that UK and Irish guests CANNOT book tickets to this (or any other party) through the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app. But there are ways you can get hold of tickets and save money!

  1. Call Disney Special Events (UK 0800 085 0582/Ireland 1800 085 0582)
  1. Use an approved third-party official seller such as FloridaTix, Orlando Attractions or Attraction Tickets, whose tickets are also available in Euros. These companies often have special offers when tickets first go on sale. This is our preferred way to buy, but shop around for the best deal.

Alternatively, you can use a VPN to buy tickets through the US website or wait until you arrive in the US, but you definitely run the risk of tickets selling out with the latter option.

What are the best dates to attend MNSSHP?

Many dates sell out quickly, with Halloween and the first party date typically selling out first, so if you know you want to attend, then purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. One disadvantage, we think, to attending the parties in August and early – mid-September is how hot it still is for wearing costumes, especially when arriving at 4.00pm. We’ve witnessed very hot-looking vampires with make-up running down their faces, as they queue up to enter. So if you do decide to attend in August or September, take into account how thick your costume is and maybe plan for something lighter!

What happens at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

The main aim is to have a ghoulishly good time, and guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up and get into the Halloween spirit! New activities are always being introduced, and, for 2026, Stitch is throwing a high-energy dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, joined by Lilo and Angel, along with a fun dressing-up box which promises to keep the party a little unpredictable.

Storybook Circus in Fantasyland will be transformed into a delightfully scary place to explore and is ideal for younger children.

Some returning favourites will include:
  • Mickey’s ‘Boo-To-You’ Halloween Parade, featuring floats filled with Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween Best. Highlights include the Headless Horseman (he appears about 15-20 minutes before the parade begins), the Haunted Mansion’s graveyard diggers and some wicked Disney Villains. This parade is typically scheduled to take place twice during the party.
  • The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, where you join the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus as they host a fun stage show at Cinderella’s Castle.
  • Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is not to be missed! Hosted by Jack Skellington, this is a frightfully fun fireworks display featuring lasers, projections, music and lighting, and has a whole host of Disney Characters. Watch the skies above Cinderella’s Castle come alive as the frights take flight!
  • Unique Character Meet & Greets. This is often one of the biggest highlights, as some of these characters greet guests only at these parties. Expect to see plenty of Villains, the very popular Jack Skellington and Sally, and, returning after debuting last year, Mickey and Minnie together in their special Halloween outfits.
  • Trick or Treating throughout the Park. Grab your goody bag and get your fill of Halloween sweets and snacks as you gather complimentary goodies from across the lands.

N.B. If you have a food allergy, ask a Cast Member for a teal-coloured goody bag. Trick or Treat using this bag and you’ll receive a teal token instead of candy, which you can redeem at the Park’s allergy-friendly centres for special treats.

  • Young partygoers can join their favourite Disney Jr. friends at the Disney Jr. Jam in Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Tomorrowland.
  • The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet in Frontierland will have you in stitches with their dead pan humour!
  • Disney’s PhotoPass photographers can boooo-st your photos using Halloween Party-exclusive Magic Shots and Props. Check out what magic is added to your photos!
