Walt Disney World Weather in January: What to Expect
January at Walt Disney World is mild with average highs around 22°C and lows around 7°C. Humidity makes mornings and evenings feel even chillier, and with sunset around 5:30–6:00pm, temperatures drop quickly.
Pack layers for comfort, and be aware that Florida weather likes to keep you on your toes.
Rainfall is low, averaging 2.48”.
Layers is the word of the month, bring trousers and shorts, along with warm jackets you can easily stow when it warms up. And if a particularly cold spell is forecast, pack hats and gloves.
Walt Disney World Weather in February: What to Expect
February weather in Disney World is similar to January, with lows in the single digits and highs in the 20s°C. Occasional warmer days are possible.
Rainfall is low again this month, averaging just over 2”. We always recommend packing a poncho (so you don’t have to buy one in the parks and save $$) or a brolly and spare, comfy shoes.
Sunset is between 6.15-6.40pm.
We’d still recommend you plan for layers in February.

March at Disney World brings milder weather, with average temperatures from 15°C to 25°C, occasionally reaching the low 30s.
Average rainfall is around 3”. We always recommend packing a poncho (so you don’t have to buy one in the parks and save $$) or a brolly and spare, comfy shoes.
Layers will still be useful for chiller days/early mornings and evenings.
The clocks change in March, and the change usually occurs 2-3 weeks before the UK and Ireland. Therefore, the sunset times vary from 6.30pm at the start of the month to 7.45pm at the end.
Walt Disney World Weather in April: What to Expect
By April, evenings at Walt Disney World start to warm up, making for more comfortable nights in the parks.
The temperature ranges from an average of 17°C to 28°C, though temperatures can soar higher later in the month.
Average rainfall is 2.58”.
Come prepared for the sun and always be prepared for rain with ponchos and umbrellas, plus spare shoes.

Walt Disney World Weather in May: What to Expect
May marks the start of much hotter weather at Disney World. While not officially summer, temperatures rise significantly and humidity increases.
During May, temperatures average from a low of 25°C to a high of 31°C and by the end of the month, expect those highs to hit even higher. Combined with this, the humidity is also on the rise, so temperatures will feel even hotter and stickier.
Evenings will cool to around 21 °C.
With the rise in humidity, you expect more rain, and this is the start of the rainy season. Expect heavy showers (they tend to pass pretty quickly), especially towards the end of the month.
Come prepared for the sun and the rain, packing ponchos, spare shoes and umbrellas.
Sunset times range from 8.00pm early in the month to 8.18pm late in the month.

June at Walt Disney World is when the weather turns hot and humid, marking the start of summer weather in Orlando.
During June, average temperatures range from lows in the 20s to highs in the mid-30s (91-94°F), but with humidity, it will feel like 100°F! When you retreat indoors, you might find the air-con a bit chilly, so a light jacket or sweater can be useful.
With the heat and humidity in June, expect frequent afternoon thunderstorms at Disney World. Rain showers are almost daily, so be prepared with ponchos, umbrellas and spare shoes!

During July, the average temperatures will range from lows in the mid-20s and highs in the mid-30s. But again, it will feel hotter with the high humidity (75%-79%).
Again, expect frequent afternoon thunderstorms that bubble up – often with impressive lightning! So, come prepared, with ponchos, umbrellas and spare shoes!

August is hot and steamy, and did we mention hot! Humidity is very high and oppressive, ranging from 77% to 90%!
Temperatures, as no surprise, range from the mid-20s to the mid-30s, but, again, due to the humidity, it will feel even hotter.
Plan plenty of breaks, stay hydrated and take advantage of free air-con in shows and shops! When you retreat indoors, you might find the air-con a bit chilly, so a light jacket or sweater can be useful.
With all this heat and humidity comes an average rainfall of over 8”, with most of that rain falling during storms that bubble up during the afternoon. So, come prepared, with ponchos, umbrellas and spare shoes!
It starts to get dark a little earlier in August, with times ranging from 8.12pm at the start of the month to 7.49pm at the end.

September remains hot and steamy, but a little less intense than July or August.
During September, temperatures will range from lows in the mid-20s to highs in the early 30’s. Humidity ranges from 79%-81%. Temperatures range from the mid-teens to the mid-20s. Humidity is now much more comfortable, low to moderate.

In December, the temperature ranges from the low teens to the early 20s.
