Purchasing tickets for Orlando’s biggest theme parks is more complicated than you might think. If tickets aren’t included in your holiday package or you are planning to book each element of your holiday separately, you need to know how to buy Disney and Universal tickets from the UK and Ireland. Updated April 2026.

How to buy Walt Disney World tickets in the UK and Ireland?

Disney offers 2 types of ticket to visitors from the UK and Ireland:

  1. The 7-day Disney Magic Ticket.
  2. The 14-day Disney Magic Ticket

This special ‘Magic Ticket’ is available directly through the UK Disney website, or, for Eire, through the Walt Disney World® Official Site | Disney holidays from Walt Disney Travel Company and some official Disney travel partners, such as TUI and Virgin.

This ‘Magic’ ticket includes extras that would typically be priced separately with US tickets, including access to the Disney Water Parks, Memory Maker (an all-inclusive photo package), a game of miniature golf, and allows you to ‘hop’ between the Parks.

The 14-day ticket can also be used over 18 days!

Tickets are typically on sale one year in advance.

But we might be able to help you find an even better deal… just keep reading!

Where to buy cheap Disney Magic tickets from in the UK and Ireland?

Some third-party sellers like Florida Tix, Attraction Tickets and Orlando Attractions can also help you buy Disney and Universal tickets in the UK and Ireland, plus they often offer further discounts, which means you may find tickets there at even lower prices! We can’t guarantee anything, but it’s certainly worth shopping around.

For families from Eire, Attraction Tickets in Ireland has tickets available in Euros.

These third-party sites are also a fantastic way to get advance access to discounted tickets for events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Jollywood Nights, which cannot be purchased from Disney’s website in the UK or Ireland.

In addition, you can purchase ‘combo’ tickets from these sellers, which combine Walt Disney World tickets with Universal/Kennedy Space Centre, etc. Do check individual sites to compare prices.

Can you use a VPN in the UK or Ireland to purchase Walt Disney World tickets?

Alternatively, you can use a VPN to access the US versions of the Disney website, where you’ll find a much wider range of Park tickets however; these may well work out to be more expensive than the exclusive UK offer. If you use a VPN, ensure your payment method allows you to pay in dollars without being charged.

How to buy Universal tickets from the UK and Ireland

UK and Ireland Guests have one option when buying tickets to Universal: a 14-day ticket that, from 2026, allows guests to move freely between their four Parks, including the new EPIC Universe. You can buy directly from Universal or through certain travel partners, such as TUI and Virgin.

As suggested above, check what deals third-party sellers are offering and look out for great value combo-tickets to Disney & Universal.

Alternatively, you can use a VPN to access the US version of the Universal website, where you’ll find a broader range of tickets and filters. If you use a VPN, ensure your payment method allows you to pay in dollars without being charged.

Can you use the Universal app to buy tickets?

Our favourite way to ‘trick the system’ is by installing the Universal App on your phone, setting up an account, and changing the phone’s location to the US; this way you can access the US version of the App and shop for cheaper, more varied tickets before you even arrive in America. We successfully bought a 2-day Park pass, with one day at Epic Universe and the other Park Hopping between the other Universal Parks. This saved us from either buying the 14-day ticket available to UK and Ireland customers (which we didn’t need) or waiting until we got to Florida to purchase tickets at the gate (which is always more expensive).

Sadly, this method doesn’t currently work on the My Disney Experience app.

Other websites you can use to buy tickets

Another way to buy your tickets in advance is via an American website, a great option if you have a credit card that allows you to spend in dollars fee free, particularly when the exchange rate is favourable! Undercover Tourist can be a good site; we bought Christmas Party tickets from there and saved over £100.
