Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 is a special ticketed event held on select nights in November and December. All dates have now sold out for 2025 but if, like us, you’re visiting in the coming weeks and have already booked, here’s everything you’ll need to know.

Even though the Party officially starts at 7pm you can enter Magic Kingdom (MK) from 4pm if you have a Party Ticket (people tend to arrive earlier and queue so, if you don’t fancy waiting, try getting there for 4:15pm when the line is already moving).

Present your valid Party Ticket to a Cast Member to receive your special Party Wristband, which serves as your ‘pass’ to the Party (each Party has a different coloured wristband). You’ll then walk along Market Street (separated from non-Party Guests), where you’ll see the first of the Party Entertainment.

If you are already inside MK then you can collect your wristband before the party starts from the following locations:

  • Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland
  • Near Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Fantasyland
  • Near Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland

What entertainment is there at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025?

On Market Street you’ll find a festive DJ and special photo opportunities with giant gingerbread men and angels on stilts. This is also where you’ll collect your free ornament* and Mickey marshmallow treat* (*see Free Stuff, below).

Frozen Holiday Surprise takes place on the Castle Stage at both 6:15pm (before the Party) and 8:15pm (during the Party) and is a great way to get into the holiday spirit!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is a huge highlight of MVMCP and takes place twice each Party night, at 8:30pm and 11pm. If you’d like to experience the ‘snow’, watch from Main Street, USA, although it usually features in the closing moments of the Party so you can catch it then, if you’d prefer. Attend the second Parade if you can as it’s less busy and take advantage of the Park being a little quieter whilst others are at the first Parade. Both follow the same route as the regular daytime Parade, starting in Frontierland and ending at the front of the Park. You’ll need to bag a spot on Main Street at least 30 minutes before the parade begins.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration takes place on the Castle Stage at 7:40pm, 9:25pm, 10:35pm and 11:55pm, and is loved by kids big and small.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at 10pm are not to be missed. Watch from the hub in front of the Castle (this will be busy, so you will need to secure your spot early) or near the Christmas tree on Main Street.  

The Reindeer Wranglers perform intermittently during the Party so if you’re looking for some fun and festive cheer, head in the direction of the Country Bear Jamboree, Frontierland.

You’ll find smaller dance parties across the Park, such as Club Tinsel and Disney Jr. Jingle Jam, which are ideal for youngsters. They run continuously, so you can visit anytime.

More than 35 Characters will be attending MVMCP, and whilst they’d all love to meet you, you need to choose carefully who you want to meet, to avoid spending all evening in long queues waiting to meet characters! Spread throughout MK, we’d suggest prioritising the ones in their Holiday outfits as they’re unique to the Party. We’ve popped an asterisk by the most popular with guests:

Main Street, USA:

  • *Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse: Town Square Theater (in Holiday outfits).
  • **Santa Jack Skellington and Sally: Town Square Theater (in Holiday outfits); this is a very popular Meet & Greet and starts between 4pm and 4:30pm.
  • Princess Elena of Avalor: Town Square Theater.
  • Mary Poppins: near Guest Relations/Walt Disney World Railroad.

Adventureland:

  • *Friends from Aladdin: near Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
  • Moana: Enchanted Tiki Room.
  • Captain Jack Sparrow: near Pirates of the Caribbean.

Liberty Square:

  • *Tiana and Naveen: Enchanted Gazebo behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.

Fantasyland:

  • *Anna and Elsa: Princess Fairytale Hall.
  • *Cinderella and Prince Charming: Princess Fairytale Hall.
  • *Rapunzel and Flynn Rider: Princess Fairytale Hall.
  • *Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip: along the Castle Walls near Pinocchio Village Haus toilets.
  • *Snow White and the Prince: along the Castle Walls near Pinocchio Village Haus toilets.
  • Peter Pan: along the wall near Pinocchio Village Haus (in Holiday outfit).
  • Belle: Maurice’s Cottage where Enchanted Tales with Belle is held (in Holiday outfit).
  • *Ariel and Prince Eric: near the Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction.
  • Donald, Daisy and Scrooge McDuck: Pete’s Silly Sideshow (in Holiday outfits).
  • Pluto: in the Dumbo the Flying Elephant queue.
  • Friends from Alice in Wonderland: near Mad Tea Party/Cheshire Café (in Holiday outfits).
  • Friends from Winnie the Pooh: near The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (in Holiday outfits)
  • *Mirabel and Bruno: Fairytale Garden from 6pm.

Tomorrowland:

  • *Stitch: near Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.

Frontierland:

  • Country Bears: near Country Bear Jamboree (in Holiday outfits).

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit to Santa Claus! He can be found in Storybook Circus, Fantasyland, from 6pm.

What attractions are open during the Party?

If you arrive at 4pm you’re welcome to enjoy all the attractions on offer but some won’t feature their Holiday overlay until the Party starts at 7pm. Most attractions are open during the Party, and they often have minimal wait times! Lightning Lanes are not available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2025.

Fantasyland:

  • Peter Pan’s Flight.
  • Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.
  • Dumbo.
  • “it’s a small world”.
  • Winnie the Pooh.
  • Barnstormer.
  • Mad Tea Party (with Holiday music and lights).
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
  • Under the Sea.

Tomorrowland:

  • Astro Orbiter.
  • Space Mountain (with a festive overlay); ride after the fireworks or close to midnight.
  • PeopleMover.
  • Tomorrowland Speedway (with Holiday lights).
  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor (with Holiday jokes).
  • TRON Lightcycle / Run; ride when people are gathering to watch a Parade or at the very end of the night. 

Adventureland:

  • Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
  • Jingle Cruise (with Holiday overlay and jokes).
  • Swiss Family Treehouse.

Frontierland:

  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure; ride when people are gathering to watch a Parade or at the very end of the night. 

Liberty Square:

  • The Haunted Mansion.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Merchandise

As you’d expect, Disney has more exclusive Party merchandise than you can shake a candy cane at! Look in Star Trader, Tomorrowland, and Emporium, Main Street USA for exclusive spirit jerseys, pins, ornaments, mugs, ears, and more. Queues can build and some items will sell out on the night.

Another exclusive for the Party is the Holiday Christmas Tree Truck Popcorn Bucket, sold at the various popcorn stands around the Park; these often sell out, so pick one up early if you want one.

Holiday Food & Drink at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

If you want to try some unique food and drink, there are many party-exclusive snacks throughout the Park, check the MDE app and party guide for details. You can experience delicious delights such as: Holiday Pot Roast Mini Corn Dogs, Holiday Ravioli, Holiday Turkey Burger, Pig in a blanket, Arroz Con Leche Wreath (rice pudding mousse), Reindeer Sundae, Frozen Hot Cocoa and Gingerbread Cola (some of these are definitely on our list to try!), to name a few. You can use Mobile Order if the item you’re after is available at a Quick Serve location.

Do you get anything free at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

One perk of attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is being able to eat your own body weight in free* cookies and washing them down with hot chocolate (*we’re using the word ‘free’ very loosely, as we all know you’ve probably more than covered the cost in the price of your entrance ticket!), so you’ll want to know where to find these delicious freebies!

There are six free cookie stations around Magic Kingdom during the Party, each offering its own type of special cookie, and you can visit them as many times as you like to get a cookie and a drink. On the Party map they are represented by a candy cane symbol, and you’ll see a matching white and red striped inflatable pole by each physical stand:

Tomorrowland:

  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café offers Buttercream Frosted Chocolate Chip Cookies and Hot Cocoa.
  • The Lunching Pad has Red Velvet Cake Cookies and Apple Cider.

Fantasyland:

  • Walt Disney World Fantasyland Railroad Station provides Snowman-shaped Pretzels and Punch.
  • Gaston’s Tavern will give you Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies and Eggnog.

Adventureland:

  • Sunshine Tree Terrace presents you with Buttercream Frosted Gingerbread Cookies and Apple Cider.
  • Tortuga Tavern supplies Hot Cocoa Cookies and Hot Cocoa.

Allergy-friendly Options:

Every location offers an allergy-friendly alternative for those with any of the following allergies: peanut, tree nut, egg, milk, fish, shellfish, soy, gluten/wheat, or sesame.

  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Tomorrowland: Vanilla Mini Cookies.
  • The Lunching Pad, Tomorrowland: Chocolate Mint Mini Cookies.
  • Walt Disney World Fantasyland Railroad Station, Fantasyland: Lemon Burst Mini Cookies.
  • Gaston’s Tavern, Fantasyland: Chocolate Chip Cookies.
  • Sunshine Tree Terrace, Adventureland: Gingersnap Mini Cookies.
  • Tortuga Tavern, Adventureland: Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Magic Shots & Special Photo Opportunities

Look out for special stands around the Park where PhotoPass photographers offer exclusive Party photos opportunities. Just ask your PhotoPass photographer to add Party Magic Shots to your photos! 

All guests receive a free Christmas Tree ornament as a thank you for attending the Party, which can be collected from the Main Street bypass welcome area or one of the satellite check-in locations inside MK if you’re already in the Park (just ask a Cast Member if you arrived before 4pm). You’ll be given a free Mickey marshmallow treat along with your ornament.
