What is EPCOT’s International Festival of Arts?
The EPCOT Festival of Arts 2026 (affectionately known as FArts!) takes place in EPCOT from the 16th of January to the 23rd of February 2026, dates which happily coincide with typically fantastic* (* read, ‘comfortably cooler’) weather! A spectacular celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts from all around the world, the festival has been wowing visitors to Walt Disney World since 2017.
Those lucky enough to attend will experience world-class food, amazing visual art and interactive exhibitions, and highly skilled live performers. The ‘mascot’ of the festival, whom you will spot all around the Park, is a playful purple dragon called Figment who champions creativity and imagination.
Entrance to the Festival is free as it is included in your valid EPCOT admission ticket (N.B. you need to make Park Reservations on the My Disney Experience (MDE) app if you don’t have date based tickets), although some activities, merchandise/souvenirs, and all Dining Packages carry an additional fee.
EPCOT Festival of Arts Concert and Dining Package information
As part of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2026, you can enjoy a fabulous concert!
Disney on Broadway Concert Series: head to America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion to catch one of the three daily shows at either 5:30pm, 6:45pm, or 8pm (seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and there is usually space for everyone); sing along to popular numbers from some classic Disney films, like Aladdin, Frozen, Mary Poppins and more.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package: for an extra fee, you can add a Dining Package to your Broadway Concert experience, which guarantees you priority seating at one of the performances that day; after the meal, each diner gets a Concert Seating Badge detailing the time and date of the show you’ve chosen to attend. In addition to the guaranteed seat, this deal also gives you:
- At most venues: 1 entrée & 1 dessert OR 1 full buffet (where applicable).
- At Spice Road Table: 2 small plates, 1 sharing tagine, 1 shared dessert platter.
- At all venues: 1 drink – alcohol can only be served to those aged 21+.
It’s best to book ahead of your visit and you’ll need to confirm your reservation with a valid credit card (you can do this on the MDE app).

If your plans change or you decide to visit last-minute, you might be able to buy a Same-Day Dining Package which allows you to dine at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue without a reservation.
Other Festival of the Arts Highlights
There really is something for everyone at EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2026 but it’s worth taking some time to plan as the live entertainment is rigidly scheduled and sets can be quite short.
Food Studios: during FArts, food becomes art and there are over 20 food stalls scattered across the Park; just grab a free map and Festival Passport from any one of them or check the MDE app for menus.
The Wonderful Walk of Colourful Cuisine is a fun way to explore the Food Studios during the festival; simply try 5 vibrant food items at any point during your visit and collect the 5 corresponding stamps in your Festival Passport and you will be rewarded with a cookie and a smoothie in a collectable cup!
Once Upon a Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway: get down to CommuniCore Plaza at any point throughout the day to see incredible costumes, puppets, and set design models from some of Disney’s greatest stage shows, including Aladdin, The Lion King, and Frozen.
Artists: unsurprisingly, EPCOT is chock-a-block with artists during the festival with over 100 Disney artists to meet in booths and galleries, and whose work is available to buy.
- Chalk artists work on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza between 10am and 4pm, although their drawings are available to view at any time (weather permitting). Keep an eye out for the adorable permanent chalk drawings scattered throughout World Showcase.
- Budding young artists can create their own showstoppers from 11am through to 5pm at the nearby Kid’s Chalk Art.
- Visual Art in Performance is an impressive, high-energy show where Disney Characters are painted before your very eyes! Two shows run Thursday-Sunday, at 12:45pm and 4pm in CommuniCore Plaza.
Musicians play daily in CommuniCore Plaza at 11:15am, 12:15pm, 12:45pm, 1:10pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm.
The Beacons of Magic light show at Spaceship Earth combines music, Muppets, and twinkling lights to create a truly special experience (runs every 15-minutes from dusk until the Park closes).
Figment’s Brush with the Masters is a fun Scavenger Hunt the whole family can enjoy! Collect a map from Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or World Traveler (costs $9.99 + tax) and add a sticker to it every time you spot a Figment-themed picture frame in the Park. Take your completed map to Disney Traders or World Traveler for your reward.
The Expression Section Paint-by-Number Mural is open to all Guests; paint 5 squares of the giant scene and you will receive a bookmark showing the full design you contributed to.
Artful Photo-ops are the gifts that keep on giving! Have endless fun with these life-sized interactive paintings inspired by famous artworks and film scenes, such as Mary Poppins and the Mona Lisa!
Magic Shots are another fun and funny way to create lasting memories of your time at the festival. Part of Memory Maker (which is often included in UK and Ireland ticket packages), just look for a PhotoPass photographer at one of the special locations around the Park and ask for a Magic Shot; they’ll add special effects (many Figment-themed!) to bring a little Disney magic to your pictures.
What’s new at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts 2026?
There are two new activities for Guests to enjoy EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2026, both centred around Disney’s Lorcana trading card game. The first is Collection Quest where players gather in the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion to open Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with each other; the second is Ink & Find, a scavenger hunt where you look for giant trading cards positioned around EPCOT and match them to special-ink stickers in your (free) Festival Questbook (collect at the bridge from World Celebration to World Showcase).
Those who complete the activities will earn up to three limited-edition Magical Places promo cards (collect from Figment’s Inspiration Station or Illumineer’s Lounge).
EPCOT Festival of the Arts Merchandise
There will be loads of merch for sale during the festival all featuring Figment; from plush toys and ornaments to jerseys and headbands (to name but a few!), you’ll be spoiled for choice if you’re looking for memorabilia to take home.
How to purchase Figment popcorn bucket at Festival of the Arts?
The incredibly popular Figment popcorn bucket will be available to buy again this year and makes for a fab souvenir! Rather than standing in (what is usually a long!) line, you can order a maximum of two per Disney account on the MDE app via Mobile Order:
- Go to EPCOT Souvenir Release.
- Select the time you wish to collect your bucket(s).
- Provide a valid form of payment.
- You’ll be notified when your order is ready and will receive a pickup window number.
- Go to the pickup location inside The Odyssey building and grab your goodies!
